Don’t Stop Me Now!

In the past, I’ve expressed my love of Queen…

..uh, no…

…what? really? no…

…mmmm…yes please…err…

There you go!

Let’s get back on track shall we?

This morning I was listening to Queen’s 1978 album; Jazz, when the song Don’t Stop Me Now started to play. Immediately my mind’s eye flashed back to this hilarious scene from the movie Shaun of the Dead.  I love the way how the impending doom in the scene builds parallel to the ridiculousness of the situation (Choreographed dance-fight!); Dianne looking on with concern while bopping away in time with the music, David’s bumbling inadvertent light show, and of course the pool cues whacking away to the cadence of the music all set up the finale in grand style. Give the video a click and see what I mean.

Have a laugh and great weekend kids!
